Pods-Coils

Coils are the heating element that turns e-liquid into vapour, and they wear out. A tired coil is the single most common reason a device that used to taste good suddenly does not. Replacing one costs a few dirhams and takes thirty seconds.
When to change a coil
Typically every 7 to 14 days, but go by taste rather than the calendar. Change it when the flavour turns muted, harsh or burnt, when vapour production drops off, or when you get spitback or gurgling. Continuing to vape a dry or burnt coil tastes awful and is not good for you.
Matching coils to your device
Coils are model-specific. Uwell Caliburn owners want the Caliburn G coils in 0.8ohm or 1.0ohm, or the Caliburn G empty cartridge pack. Newer G3, G4 and G4 Mini devices take the GPP 3ml cartridge, while A3S users need the A3S 2ml cartridge. We also stock VABAR Koin coils and VEIIK Airo Pro coils.
Understanding the ohm rating
A higher resistance (1.0ohm and above) runs cooler, uses less battery, gives a tighter mouth-to-lung draw and suits higher-nicotine salt liquids. A lower resistance (below 0.8ohm) runs hotter, produces far more vapour, drinks battery and liquid, and should be paired with low-nicotine freebase. Using 50mg salt nicotine on a sub-ohm coil is genuinely unpleasant.
Priming
Always prime a new coil: put a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton, fill the pod, then wait five minutes before the first puff. Skipping this is the fastest way to burn a brand-new coil.
